Spring

If you're a frequent visitor to our site you'll undoubtedly notice an increase in the number of job postings lately. Over the past few weeks we have started recruiting for the new HI-Whistler and we have had some key positions become available.

Spring time seems like a popular time of the year to make a career change and even though the first official day of spring isn't until March 20th there are lots of opportunities available if you're looking to join Hostelling International.

And just in case you're unfamiliar with Hostelling here is a video produced by our friends at HI USA that answer's the question What is a hostel?

Interested in being part of something amazing!

Hi
How are you doing on this lovely day?
I have been very enticed to work at a hostel since traveling though Central America a year ago and would be honored to be a part of something so unique and fabulous. I am currently in the states but will soon be traveling Canada for the next 7-8 months starting in May. I have great people skills (or would like to think so) and understand theres lots in running a great hostel. If you have anything opening I would love to get a chance to say more! Hope to hear from you! Thank you!

Job Alerts

Hey Rachelle

thanks for checking out our site. Over the next couple of months we'll start recruiting for summer positions, so it's a perfect time to come to Western Canada looking for a job with HI. In the new year we added the Job Alerts function to our website. Decide which hostel you'd be interested in working at and sign up, we'll send you an email when a job that matches your interest gets posted. Visit the job alert section for more info.

Good luck on your trip planning and safe travels!
