Welcome summer!
We marked the first day of summer by welcoming the new staff members of the new HI-Whistler hostel on day one of their orientation.
The new HI-Whistler will open for guests on July 1, 2010, and this week the management team welcomed the front line team to begin training and orientation.
Being part of something amazing!
A couple of days ago a visitor to our site replied to one of our blog entries and said that she was Interested in being part of something amazing.
This headline really struck me because I'm back at my desk after attending two days of meetings with the Hostel Managers and Assistant Managers and Regional Office Staff. Over the past two days the leaders of our organization got together and shared best practices and mapped out the future direction of our Association. The amazing thing about working for HI is that everyone's input counts.
