I started with Hostelling International back in September 2003 as a Front Desk Agent. I was in Lake Louise with a co-op program for school, and after my contract with Parks Canada was up, I applied and I've been working here ever since!
Being the Hostel Manager can be pretty eventful. Every day is a new adventure! My favourite thing about working for HI is that I get to meet and interact with so many awesome people. I've made so many amazing friends that have enriched my life.
Yes, I live in staff accommodation on-site - a one minute walk to get to work! And close to great activities - snowboarding and cross country skiing are tied for favourite things to do in the winter and hiking of course in the summer.
