My first hostelling experience was near the ocean at the HI-Waikiki at Oahu, Hawaii. I had found a fun and affordable way to travel. I started my HI career at HI-Calgary City Centre as a front desk agent during the Calgary Stampede. I was lucky enough to also cover a few shifts and experience the magic of the Canadian Rockies at both HI-Banff Alpine Centre and HI-Lake Louise Alpine Centre. I have since moved to Vancouver and love exploring the beautiful west coast of Canada.
Currently, I am working as a Reservation Agent making reservations, answering questions and providing information for the hostels in Alberta, BC, Yukon and Manitoba. I have had many great experiences, learning about other cultures and making many friends along the way. I am looking forward to the adventures ahead, experiencing the spirit of Hostelling International worldwide.
